Souths Unveil 2025 Indigenous Jersey Design

The Souths Logan Magpies are proud to unveil our 2025 Indigenous Jersey, a meaningful collaboration with our longstanding Partners at Marsden State High School.

This year’s jersey design was created by Marsden SHS student Peyton, who was selected as the winner of the school’s Indigenous Art Competition. Her design will be proudly worn by our team on Sunday, July 6 at Davies Park, as we take on the Brisbane Tigers in celebration of the beginning of NAIDOC Week.

The design process began in late 2024, and the final artwork reflects Peyton’s personal connection to her culture, her journey in Rugby League, and her representation of the Magpies. The result is a jersey that not only honours her heritage but also highlights the strong link between culture and sport.

Our partnership with Marsden SHS continues to grow across several programs, including Rugby League and Hospitality. We are honoured to now extend this relationship to include support for the school’s Indigenous Program - an important initiative fostering pride, identity, and opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

We look forward to wearing this jersey with pride, as a symbol of unity, respect, and community.
