Away at Richardson Park in Goodna, the Magpies were out of the blocks fast and never let the Ipswich Jets in the contest, running out convincing 32-4 winners.
Tori Groves Little set the tone early, crossing in the 11th minute and converted by Skyla Adams to make it 0-6. Kiarah Siauane extended the lead to 0-10 in the 14th, and Chante Bates pushed it to 0-14 in the 18th. Tori Groves Little then took over, crossing again in the 30th minute and completing a first-half hat-trick in the 34th, Adams slotting both conversions to have the Magpies out to a commanding 0-26 lead at the break. A dominant 35 minutes that put the result beyond doubt before halftime even arrived.
The Jets got their only points of the day just after the restart, Tenaya Yorston crossing in the 36th minute to get on the board at 4-26. The Magpies had one more in them though, Tyler Birch finishing off in the 41st minute, and with Adams' conversion, the scoreboard settled at the final 32-4.
Six tries to one, and Tori Groves Little's first-half hat-trick the headline act. Back-to-back big wins now, and the confidence in this side is obvious from how quickly they're putting teams away. Full steam ahead into the next one at home this Sunday!
