To our Stakeholders

We are thrilled to reveal a little more about our vision for Flagstone …

The Peet team will be on the ground at Flagstone this Saturday to cheer our young sports stars involved in the Souths Logan footy camp and Flagstone Phoenix Smashing the Barriers workshop.

We will also be giving residents a bird’s eye view of how plans are coming together for Flagstone, including the new central business district.

There has been changes taking place in our sales centre and in the signs around Flagstone. These go with some exciting concepts and an animated fly-through we have uploaded to the Flagstone website today to give everyone a first taste of how we expect the area to look when it is fully developed in around 30 years’ time.

Flagstone is a big project. It deserves a big vision and that takes time. We want to make sure it is a city of adventure and opportunity for everyone who lives here. The design we are working on focuses on giving people great choices in housing, good employment prospects and excellent community and business facilities, including a sophisticated CBD that will service the whole Greater Flagstone region.

Right now, our community and stakeholders have been asking for more recreation facilities and one of the first things we will be developing is a 10 hectare major regional park full of play and fitness equipment, multi-use trails for walkers, runners, cyclists and off road adventurers. Stage one of that is scheduled to open next year.

The regional park will be complemented by a major regional sports zone incorporating playing fields for a huge range of activities including rugby league, rugby union, AFL, soccer, netball, basketball, tennis and cricket.

As you know, approvals are in place for work to start on the first residential village on the western side of the railway line and the temporary bridge is nearly complete. Stay tuned for more to come this year as we continue to build the vision that is Flagstone.

On behalf of Peet Limited, and our partners MTAA Super, we hope you will share the vision with us. Please feel free to circulate this information and links to any stakeholder you think might be interested and if you have any questions, contact the Flagstone team.
